Chris Powell
Chris
gave us a superb concert, with music from all the genres of music and
the generations. He gave us two excellent Blackpool selections in the
style of the Might Wurlitzer, a military selection and music from
Offenbach which was amazing.

Len Rawle
There
was a good turnout for Len's concert. He provided very enjoyable
selections and pushed as many sounds as he could from his Yamaha,
providing a "galaxy" of sounds, and there were also a few classical
pipe organ peices as well, which he pulled off extremely well.

Andrew Nix
A
photograph of Andrew Nix taken during the interval of his well received
and most entertaining concert on 25th February. Using the
resources of the Roland Atelier T80-SL to the full, he played a
spectrum of styles from lush slow numbers through latin to
up-tempo. In particular he played a couple of neatly
registered theatre style medleys in honour of the Clydebank
Wurlitzer finishing with an encore of George Formby numbers in that
style.
 Chiho SunamotoChiho
Sunamoto entertained a good sized crowd on 28th January with a
splendid concert. As well as her musicality and astounding
technique, she demonstrated a wide range of organ styles. To add
to the proceedings, Jon Smith in the guise of her 'roadie' for the day
joined in giving two very nicely sung vocal selections and a couple of
theatre styled pieces on the Yamaha. (In fact Jon is a very
successful organist in his own right.)
As
a finale Chiho splayed a dazzling version of Finiculi Finicula,
following it up with a beautifully rendered 'Glen Miller' number.
Don Thompson
Below
you can see a photograph taken at the end of the very
entertaining Don Thompson concert held on 8th October. It
included lots of favourites as well as a silent comedy film
accompaniment and some community singing! He was in excellent
form.
